Bercerita tentang sekolah berpedang yang mengajari tentang Ksatria Sihir, pengguna sihir yang bertarung menggunakan senjata yang diciptakan dari jiwa mereka. Ikki Kurogane masuk ke sekolah ini untuk mempelajari Ksatria Sihir tapi dia berakhir sebagai "Ksatria yang gagal" karena tidak memiliki kemampuan sihir.
